The Police's Brisbane, Australia concert

I had a ball. Great songs, great musos, good venue, weather etc etc. BUT !! The sound was awful. Fergie (Black eyed peas)was the support act. Her sound was dreadful. no clarity just a lot of delay and bottom end. You couldn't make out the guitar sounds. Her reportoire was a bit of a mess too. It didn't get much better when the Police opened up. The vocals and guitars were lost in the mix. I was centre stage and 20 metres back. A couple of times Copeland lost the click track and the sequenced backing so it mustn't have been much better on stage. They opened the roof on the stadium at the start of the set but it was the mix that was the problem. It should n't be that hard to get some definition in the mix when it's a 3 piece band. The two women I went with where more concerned about the look of Stings' beard. Yeah I'd go again I had a great time. It was just disappointing production.
