The Police's New York, New York concertNovember 2, 2007Review by Serella. This show was special for me. I took my 2 daughters, who are 9 and 11. They made a banner that said 'We (heart) you, Stewart' and dressed in blue, yellow, red to salute the 3some. The show was of course thrilling on its own, but bringing my girls with me to see my favorite bandof all time was over the top! The band really exploded with their 1st few songs, and totally took over when they did 'Magic' which got my kids jumping and clapping. The entire crowd was mesmerized by the performance. The boys did seem much tighter musically than Aug. 1st, but much looser with each other. Stewart, as always, stole the show and got the most applause deservedly. Sting seemed to have trouble with a few songs and also the flute that begins 'Wrapped', but he made goofy faces and continued on. At the end of the show Stewart rubbed Sting's head as if to say 'Good job, don't fret'. Interestingly enough, things seemed to be a bit more tense in Atlantic City the next night. (see my review!)
