Great concert. Sting's voice was amazing. Andy was on
target and Stewart was fantastic. I brought my girls 12 and 15 - and both
of them loved it. They also thought Sting was hot. The acoustics in
the Boston Garden (i.e. TD BankNorth Center) are mediocre. To much sound
bounce, but the bands mixer did a great job handling the sound. The
camera crew did a real nice job as well. I love Andy's guitars and he
showed he knows how to play in a large stadium without mucking up the sound
like other guitarist. FIction Plane was Good. It would have been nice
to see them up on the big screen as well. The kid is a chip off the old
block. Highly recommended. Tickets were expensive as hell - it cost me
$900 for 4. So you are more likely to see the older folks out having a
nice time vs the younger kids who probably can't afford it.. 2
encore's. Wish they did Roxsanne but now that I think of it-it probably
wouldn't sound that good without backup singers. Good time had by all.
Of course off to my left about seven rows down there
was the one drunk/stoned cracked out jerk you find at every concert who
has to stand the entire time flailing his hands, dancing and singing as
loud as he possible can - so those directly beside and behind him
couldn't see or hear anything. I almost threw my water bottle at him. If you
can afford to - and you get a chance to see the concert GO. If you get
a jerk in front of you - knock him out quick - so you can enjoy the
show.
