The Police's Dublin, Ireland concert

Police maintain their legend. An appreciative 82000 fans crowded into Croke Park on what was one of the warmest irish evenings of the year. Immediately Sting wowed the crowd with his banter and invitation for the audience to perform backing vocals.They were soon putty in his hands - quite a sight to see 164000 hands clapping simultaniously.From the first song seated fans became standing fans with seats. It was a very special evening:- (1)Andy's guitar playing was even better than I remember (2)Stewart's drumming tight and precise (3)Sting's vocals - at times I thought he was going to hold a note all night - where does he get his breath from? almost a yogic trance!or some strange brew from the mug he sipped from all night. Clearly even little thing they did was magic It has been said that in 1984 the Police got out at the top of their game - they are still at the top.I just wish I could get a job with the Police -even to make Sting his tea
