My name is Marisa Meisters and I'm happily married to a great guy. We have a beautiful daughter who was born in 2006. :-) I hold a bachelor's degree in Political Science, a Master's in International Hotel Management, and a second Master's in Management Information Systems, yikes!! My interests include (but are not limited to) traveling, photography, traveling, creating and maintaining web sites, horseback riding, traveling, sailing, and did I mention traveling?! Musically, I obviously like The Police and Sting. I also really enjoy Andy Summers' solo work, as well as Elton John, Dave Matthews, Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Bruce Hornsby, Harry Connick jr., Phil Collins, Eros Ramazotti, and U2 to name a few. A German friend introduced me to the music of Herbert Groenemeyer; some people think he sounds a lot like Sting; (I liken his voice more to Eric Clapton) plus he writes great music. These days though, I cannot get Eros out of my head! It's too bad that English-language radio stations refuse to play his amazing music. Check out some of his videos on YouTube if you're not familiar with his work. In terms of newer musicians, I also like John Mayer, Coldplay, KT Tunstall, Snow Patrol, Maroon 5, and probably a few others I'm neglecting at the moment. Pet peeves include second-hand smoke, bad drivers, people who talk too much, and plagiarizm (on the internet or otherwise). My motto: "Have suitcase, will travel."
